somn_greu Everything has been said already , so I'm just smoking in my window at 4AM and listening to this beautiful minimalist and melancholic album .It's mysterious and sad and without reading the description, it seems to be telling stories from another era, tragic and beautiful stories. Favorite track: blood beneath fingernail.

DAMIEN MCSHERRY Very nice, even lovely music that makes ya think and be grateful for bein alive, (which for me isnt too often).

MarsDragoner This album just came along at the right time. An entrancing and deeply meditative offering. I truly felt like being embraced and caressed by the vast ocean, shielded against any and all dread. While the arrangements are rather simple, the emotional core of the pieces never wavers, from longing to wistful remembrance to jubilant celebrations of the mind.
Favorite track: i look for tomorrow.

about

November 2, 1868 - In keeping to resolutions set by my dearest wife and in avoidance of any further degradation of my health, I rose early to stroll the nearby seacoast, a stones throw from the shanty. I found the fresh air favorable in spite of the bitter chill, though the waves were of a wild sort, and it seemed the gulls still slept. I know now why their cries were stilled this morn, for what I chanced upon that cursed beach was beyond our world. My God… I thought myself rid of these anxieties. I cannot seem to cleanse my spirit from the wickedness I have spied, entangled in the sea-weeds and rotten debris.

By God, a hand! A wretched hand, somehow severed from its owner. I bore witness not to the deed but to the fruition of such evil. Yet, how fiendish in its appearance, blackened and gray, perhaps not from decay but was it always so? Did I gaze upon some dark magic? Where once rushed blood, now makes home to crawling critters, the flesh a nest for the crustaceans, by God I cannot think of it anymore. Please God take these thoughts from me, and let me bear this burden no more as it drives me to madness.
